Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SpinMinds Solutions Private Limited ("we") collects and uses personal information on vigyanvanam.com. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, mobile number and (optionally) email address, the products you bought, and payment status and reference numbers from Razorpay.
• For personalised books: the child's first name and its Telugu or Hindi spelling, used only to create and re-send that book. While you type the name, the English spelling is sent to Google's transliteration service to suggest spellings; nothing else is sent.
• Free sample and enquiry forms: your name, mobile number and the details you type.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and, if enabled, the Meta Pixel which helps us measure our advertising and may set cookies.

What we do not collect

We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password. These are handled entirely by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

To deliver your files, provide support, prevent fraud, keep accounting and tax records as required by law, and occasionally tell you about new products (you can opt out at any time by emailing us).

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the store (Razorpay for payments, our hosting provider, Google transliteration as described above, and Meta for ad measurement) or when required by law.

Retention and your rights

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@vigyanvanam.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Our products are for children but are bought by parents or teachers. We collect only a child's first name, only for personalised books, and only from the adult placing the order.
